Gabion Donor Wall

Project:

2Kings was asked to help design a donor wall for those that gave financially to make Harborside Park a reality. Along with highlighting organizations + individuals who were instrumental in the realization of the project, the wall itself serves as an educational exhibit connecting the park to the Maritime Museum across the street. Ballast stones salvaged from the the Queen Anne’s Revenge wreck site just off shore were hand selected and preserved undamaged within the columns of donor wall in stainless steel gabion cages, with informational displays illustrating their use and recovery from the ocean floor.
